(8/26/26) We are starting to see good numbers of King Salmon on the Big Manistee River below Pine Creek. The holes are starting to load up with fresh Salmon. A few days ago, Manistee Received a decent amount of rain. That, paired with a change in the wind direction, the lake flipped, and brought cold water against the shoreline, bringing Kings into the river. Both Pere Marquette River and the Manistee Rivers now have fishable Salmon numbers.
